Murooj Al Saadi is a leading voice in corporate innovation and entrepreneurship across the MENA region. With over a decade of experience bridging the gap between startups and corporates, she has designed and led national-scale innovation programs, advised both government and private sector leaders, and trained hundreds of teams in innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment.
Before founding Madaar, Murooj played key roles at Oman Technology Fund, Brinc MENA, Google for Startups, and The Fifth Element Consultancy—helping launch initiatives that impacted over 1,000 entrepreneurs and expanded support across MENA, Africa, and Europe.
In 2023, Murooj was named one of the SheWins Arabia Top 100 Women Founders—a recognition of her ongoing commitment to building stronger, more inclusive innovation ecosystems.
Maya Beyhum

Maya Beyhum is an established financial consultant and ecosystem builder with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of finance, startups, and innovation ecosystems. She has a proven track record of empowering over 100 SMEs and startups, primarily in the technology sector, to become investment-ready and secure millions in equity and debt financing. Over nearly seven years at the Sas Accelerator (ITA Oman), she mentored early-stage startups on investment readiness and financial strategy, co-leading programs in partnership with Google and CyLon UK that supported $500K+ in pre-seed funding
As Founder & CEO of Metric Bee, she served as a fractional CFO to growth-stage startups, leading fundraising due diligence, financial modeling, and board reporting, helping founders build robust financial foundations for scale. Her deep financial expertise is paired with a strong track record in ecosystem development.
Najla Al Balushi

Najla is a Project Associate at Madaar, where she supports the planning and delivery of impactful entrepreneurship and innovation programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Law from MCBS and brings over five years of experience in administration, finance, and client relations. Her previous roles at the Oman American Business Council highlight her strong foundation in both business operations and legal frameworks.

Maryam is a Finance and Partnerships Associate at Madaar, where she supports finance, legal coordination, logistics and partnership management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UTAS and has completed hands-on training in finance and marketing through an internship at Madaar, experience in event planning and volunteer roles like the Emdad hackathon.

Her background includes freelance roles with Vodafone, Mazoon, and Otaxi, as well as a communications internship at Petrogas E&P.
